Encompassing the area roughly from Kipling Avenue to the east, Rathburn Road to the south, Martin Grove Road to the west and Princess Margaret Boulevard to the north, the Glen Agar area is a great family oriented neighbourhood.

Impact of the HST – What will cost MORE?

With the full implementation of the HST – Harmonzied Sales Tax – coming into effect July 1st, 2010, a number of items previously taxed at a lower rate – only GST and not subject to PST – are now going to be taxed at the full 13% HST rate.

RBC Canadian Open coming to St. George’s Golf and Country Club

The historic St. George’s Golf and Country Club will host the 2010 RBC Canadian Open from July 19th to July 25th, 2010. The venerable Toronto club has previously hosted four Canadian Opens in its storied history, the last one in 1968. Designed by Stanley Thompson and opened in 1929, the Royal York Golf Club was planned as a weekend retreat for clients of the Royal York Hotel. In 1946 it left the Royal York connection behind and was renamed St. George’s Golf and Country Club. The club is consistently rated in the top three in Canada and the top 100 in the world, a fact which generates a great deal of pride among St. George’s members.
